New 1995-99 Harley Davidson FXST FLST Softail Chrome True Dual Exhaust Pipes W/ 30” Fishtails

Chrome true dual exhaust system features independent exhaust pipes.

The rear pipe is for the left, and the front pipe is for the right.

Pipes do no intersect, and have a 1-3/4" outer diameter.

Use with 1-3/4" slip on mufflers.

Order heat shields separately.

Chrome 30” fishtail kit includes two fishtails, two inlet clamps, and two body clamps.

Pipes have a 1-3/4" inside diameter.

Kit fits over drag or dual exhaust systems.

Fishtails do not include baffles.

Chrome 36” fishtail kit includes two fishtails, two inlet clamps, and two body clamps.

Pipes have a 1-3/4" inside diameter.

Kit fits over drag or dual exhaust systems.

This is a custom application and rider safety depends on proper installation. This product should
only be installed by a knowledgeable and trained motorcycle technician.

Installation Instructions:
1. Using the service manual remove the OEM exhaust system.
2. Remove the OEM snap rings and exhaust flanges and install on new exhaust pipes.
3. Mount the muffler support brackets. On some models, using the muffler support bracket you will need to mark the frame,drill and tap using a NC
3/8-16 tap.
NOTE: Using OEM style Brackets allows you to select a Variety of OEM style mufflers. Order VT No. 31-0815 Muffler brackets sold separately.
4. Remove the OEM Shift rod.
5. Remove the the old exhaust gasket and replace them with new ones.
6. Install the rear pipe from the left side.
7. Use the “L” bracket and “P” bracket to support the left pipe and secure it to the passenger foot rest bolt.
8. Install the shift rod ends from the OEM shift rod onto the shift rod provided in the kit. Adjust the new shift rod and install UNDER the left exhaust pipe
as shown. Check for free movement and travel.
9. Install the front head pipe. Torque to factory specifications.
10. Select and Install the mufflers and clamps and insure all the brackets are aligned and not contacting any part of the motorcycle.
11. Tighten the clamps, head bolts, and brackets. Torque to factory specification
