Taillight Installation Guide: Please Read Before Purchase

While model-specific instructions aren’t included, hope these general wiring guidelines will help you install your new taillight smoothly. If you have questions or need support, contact us anytime!

1. Running and Brake Light Instructions:

Most of our LED taillights use OEM-style plugs for easy “plug and play” installation.

Some older lights use an 1157 dual-contact bulb socket (see listing photos for reference), which replaces your original bulb directly.

If our plug doesn’t fit certain newer models, simply swap the old socket with your bike’s factory connector.

Wiring Color Reference:

Black:  Negative (Ground)

Red:   Running Light

Green: Brake Light

2. Turn Signals Activation:

Connect the yellow wire (or yellow & black wire) to the positive wires of your bike’s left/right turn signals to enable built-in signals.

Extra black wires, if included, should always connect to ground.

3. (Optional) Fixing Error Codes or Alerts:

If upgrading from incandescent to LED, you see error codes, rapid blinking, or static amber lights, These happen because LEDs use less current.

To fix: Install the supplied resistors in parallel with the taillight using the included diagram.

If your kit includes an LED relay instead of resistors, swap your factory relay for the LED relay.

**Installation Tips:

If the light won’t power on, double-check all wiring and connectors.

Try reconnecting; if it still doesn’t work, use a test light or connect directly to a 12V battery using the wire colors above. 

If problems persist, contact us for a replacement.
